The Medina Valley girls powerlifting team earned the 2nd Place Outstanding Team Award at Regionals, with several top finishes securing their spot at the State competition.

The Medina Valley HS girls soccer team celebrated their district championship recognition with an impressive 6–1 victory over Laredo United South.

The MVHS men’s soccer team hosted Laredo United High School at Panther Stadium on Friday night, delivering an energetic performance in front of the home crowd.

Ella Rodriguez set a new 1600m school record with a 5:14.07 finish while Trinity Pinto added her second record of the season in the 200m, marking a historic and record-breaking year for Panther track.

In a powerhouse performance at Panther Stadium, the Medina Valley HS girls soccer team overwhelmed Eagle Pass HS with a decisive 8-0 victory.

Proud of these Medina Valley High School track athletes for representing with speed, strength, and spirit as they competed this week.

MVHS proudly honored eight exceptional seniors as they officially signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level, marking a memorable day for students, families, and the Panther community.

Kiyana Perez named Regional Champion after taking 1st place in the diving competition. Perez's dominant performance saw her break the pool record for the third time in her performances. She will now represent Medina Valley at the UIL State Championships in Austin on February 20th and 21, 2026.

Congratulations to senior Trinity Pinto on setting a new Medina Valley record in the 400M, surpassing a 39-year-old school record. The impressive new time is 56.5 seconds.

The team delivered an electric performance at the District meet, earning multiple podium finishes and sending selected athletes to the Regional meet on February 6.
