The Medina Valley Panther swim season has officially concluded following a strong showing at the Regional Championships at Laredo United High School. While the swimmers have hung up their goggles for the year, the diving portion of the team remains in high gear as they prepare for the state level.

Several athletes delivered standout performances in their respective individual events:
- Mikaela Trejo: Secured a top-10 finish, placing 10th in the 100 Breaststroke and 14th in the 100 Free.
- Ava Jasso: Finished 14th in the 100 Breaststroke.
- Ryan Morris: Earned 16th place in the 100 Fly.
Diving Success & State Bound
The highlight of the meet was Kiyana Perez, who was crowned the Regional Champion after taking 1st place in the diving competition. Perez's dominant performance saw her break the pool record for the third time in her performances. She will now represent Medina Valley at the UIL State Championships in Austin on February 20th and 21st, 2026.
